Funny Story's of Oreo

I woke up the other night to a big crash and my husband yelling, "What the heck are you doing?" and then he started to laugh. Well I guess the kitty took off running around the corner from the hallway to the living room and totally trashed his food bowls and sent all his food flying. Bill was laughing so hard I thought he was going to pee his pants. The small wire frame that holds his two dishes was way over the other side of the coffee table... What a nut this kitty is!!! But we love him.

Oreo really loves the cat grass that I planted in on of my garden boxes so every time I go to the patio door he thinks he is getting to go outside and have a snack. He is so funny. Well today I took out the camera as well and managed to get this really cute shot of him just vegging out after a little snack of cat grass.

I was putting my laundry away and getting my clothes ready to go away so I had the closet door open and a couple of drawers open. Well when I turned my back to do something in the closet this is when he made his break for the drawer. He is always trying to get in but I never let him. Well today I thought perfect photo opportunity. What a monkey he is.

Oreo trying to get into my SOCK DRAWER!

Oreo in my sock drawer and trying to peek out.

Oreo hanging out.
Snuggled in for a little nap.

Made these....

Here is a card I made for my loving hubby Bill. I used one of my new stamps "LOVE BUG" and Romance Backgrounds (both retired I believe) that I received from Close to My Heart.

Card Stock: Prism
Ink: Versamark & Stampin' Up Ruby Red
Tools: Nesties for square and circle

Someone on my Memorybook email list stared this the link for a Halloween Paper Pinecone and I thought what the heck. Then I went and looked at it. Well I realized that it is something I have been wondering on how to do for years. I have seen them done in fabric but never ever seen the instructions on how to do them. I am so excited that I searched most of the town looking for 3" styrofoam balls.

Here are my results from the pattern. I was really excited about how it turned out. Bill even liked it. I am giving this one to my mother and will make another for me and I will be making a Christmas one as well.

Thanks for checking out my crafty things.

Lookie Lookie

Look at what showed up on my door step today. The UPS email said it was coming tomorrow but it came today. YEAH! Now time to go have some fun.
There are 12 stamps set here from Close to My Heart and I got them off the clearance rack. I do love a good sale.

Couldn't sleep last night.....

Well my sleeping patterns have gotten out of sink. I am sleeping most days and up all night. Hoping to get this change very soon as I can't take it much more. Anyways, since not sleeping I do use my time to make some cards and watch a few eposides from the first season of Friday Night Lights.
Here are my efforts for last night. I had a couple of sticker sheets that I picked up at the local Buck or Two and thought they would make great cards. I also used my new nesties sets to make the cards. I recently got ovals, square and rectangle (circle was my first one). These are so much fun to use.

Thanks for checking out my cards. I had lots of fun with them last night. It is so good to be able to create and enjoy it.
Have a wonderful day.

Silly Kitty

Ok yesterday I came into the spare bedroom to use the computer and there was my silly Kitty Oreo laying on top of the pile of blankets that were sitting on the van seat (yes it should be in the van) . I sometimes wonder how he gets into positions like he does. It was so funny and he was sleeping away and I couldn't resist taking a picture.

Well today Bill came into our bedroom to get ready for work and on his way into the room he saw this..... I guess Oreo will find any place to curl up and have a sleep. He is to funny.

Thanks for checking out silly pictures of my kitty. He makes us laugh everyday.

Needed a few cards

I needed a few birthday cards as I never seem to have them handy when I need them so I decided to get a few done and have them ready.

This card is created with a stamped imagine that a friend shared with me. I used my nesties to create the circle that showcases my little girl. Sentiment- (outside of card) The Secret to staying young is ..... (inside of card) to live honestly, eat slowly, and lie about your age. Lucille Ball.

Another stamped image shared by friends. It is to cute.

I got these cute birthday ribbon stickers and ribbon from the dollar store. So love the dollars stores for the amazing amount of fun scrapbooking stuff they have.

Anyways that is what I was up to on Sunday night. Now I have a few cards ready to go. Thanks for checking out my cards. Have a great day and enjoy what is left of summer.

Holidays and Now home.....

Just wanted to make sure that I up date here as often as I can.

We were on holidays from July 15 to August 4th when we came home. We didn't go to far for holidays but to Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario to see my parents and my hubby's parents. We had a wonderful visit. We also spend a 3 days in the USA in Brichrun and Frankenmuth and had a amazing time shopping and visiting with my parents (who travelled in the same car as us) and my inlaws. I will share some photos soon. I need to resize them a bit for the blog.

We have been home for over a week but haven't had much of a chance to do anything creative. I have hurt my left foot/ankle some how and have no idea what I have done. But hoping this afternoon my doctor can tell me. This has made it very hard to sit at the table and craft and the computer so I have been pretty quiet this week.

Must run and have some breakfast/lunch (I am not a breakfast food person) and then hopefully maybe get another bag put away from holidays......only been home a week.

Thanks for reading.
